Well here it is, we have finally bitten the bullet and started a blog. We are two girls who have a love for all the pretty and glittery things in life, and our goal is to share all of that with you! Our blog will encompass all things fabulous, from nails to makeup to fashion and beyond. Everyday will be a different review and/or discussion topic centered around all things fabulous.
Mani Monday will be where we discuss a new nail color, style, product, etc. and go into detail on how you can create the same look. Trendy Tuesday is where we discuss a new trend. This can range from hairstyle to fashion to shoes and beyond. We will include both "splurge" and "save" options so that you can pull off our trend of the week at any budget. Wine-o Wednesday shows the drink of the moment, day, afternoon, hour, take your pick! These drinks range from new items that can be purchased directly from stores and seasonally relevant recipes that you can create yourselves! We will also include alcohol-free versions for our under-age readers. Thrifty Thursday is where we'll show you a blockbuster, couture look and then show you how you can recreate that look using bargain pieces. Fabulocity Friday is where we will discuss a new makeup product and show you the best ways to use it. We will also include bargain options that will achieve a similar look. Sassy Saturday is where we'll show you a fun new hairstyle and show you ways in which you can pull it off. We will do our best to offer tips to achieve the looks for different hair textures, lengths, and thicknesses. Sundays have always been a traditional "fat" day for us where we and our friends just eat whatever we want and just worry about it on Monday. So keeping this in mind, we have birthed the idea of Sugar-fest Sunday where we'll show you a scrumptious dessert (some of which are low in cals and fat!). We'll also do our best to include some gluten and/or dairy-free recipes.
On occasion we'll have special posts like a featuring a forgotten makeup product or trend. The days and names aren't written in stone, so if you have any ideas or other things you'd like to see, please let us know!
We are also in the process of opening an Etsy store (http://www.etsy.com/shop/SFullofSugar) where we will sell handmade goods made by us and my grandmother. These items include jewelry, custom iPhone / iPad covers, ornaments for all holidays (custom options available for weddings and special occasions), and crocheted afghans (also with custom options). We will keep you informed as to it's progress and when the store will officially be open.
